Kids Helping Kids Poster Contest

 

Deadline Date: September 30, 2009

 

IDRF invites you to participate in our first ever Annual Kids Helping Kids Poster Contest. This is an opportunity for kids to demonstrate their dedication to helping others through IDRF using their creativity and imagination.

 

 

The winner of the Annual Kids Helping Kids Poster Contest will be announced in October 2009.  The winning poster will be the official Kids Helping Kids Program poster for one full year.  The winner will be awarded a cash prize of $100 along with an IDRF prize package, which includes a Kids Helping Kids t-shirt, wristband, and tote bag.  In addition, the poster will be displayed on our website, www.rise-up.ca, along with a photo and a profile of the winner. Copies of the poster will be displayed in various IDRF publications.

 

 

The IDRF will be happy to accept entries based on the following themes: Kids Helping Kids; Children and youth building global partnerships for development; Giving/sharing; Global Community; and/or the Millennium Development Goals.

 

 

Contest Entry Guidelines:

  • Artistic talent is beneficial but not necessary.

  • All Contest Entries must be submitted in colour.

  • All submissions must be original art.  Contest Entries taken from websites, magazines, calendars, etc., are not permitted.

  • Computer generated Contest Entries and photographs will not be accepted.

  • All submissions must be 2-dimensional (flat surface), using various materials such as crayons, markers, paint, etc., according to the artist(s) preference.

  • All Contest Entries must be submitted with a registration form including candidate’s name, their address, their age, their grade, the name and telephone number of their school, and their teacher’s name, along with a description of the poster.

  • The poster will become the property of the IDRF.

  • Contest Entries will not be returned.

 

Dimensions: Entries must be no larger than 43 cm x 53 cm OR 17" x 21".

 

 

Necessary Information: Please submit your poster with the registration form attached.
